it must be a great feeling to know that you got at least 2000 days or 48000 hours more freedom than the rest of the participants here. )) a degree in freedom.
i have one university degree in media management, economics and film and one uncompleted in philosophy and ethnology. started a doctoral dissertation on something else but someone in my circle died and i fucked it off. those universities gave me almost nothing other than a better business card.

Was going for an Electrical Engineering degree but was too distracted with surfing and playing in bands to finish it. Was working in a computer warehouse and worked my way up to software engineer, employed as such for over 15 years. Now enrolled in night classes to finish my bachelors (not EE) to give me other options for work, along the lines of things I love.

Didn't you say you did mathematics?
Anyway, formal education is a soon to be B.Sc in Geology, musical education is mostly self taught (although I did take some guitar and piano lessons).

yes, i did. in my university the field media management takes the whole course of education in high mathematics and statistics, otherwise they dont give you the university degree. then you can choose, on which field to specialise to become a media manager, it is quite free and you can do whatever you want. but mathematics and statistics, as well as the economy is done by everyone and there are exactly the same exams for everyone, no matter if a student of mathematics or a student of media management.
actually quite a lot of lost time , especially if one needs to work while studying to pay for that.
inside was also one year of music management and music engineering.
but these degrees are actually only a formal insurance that you 'd never be on the street and show nothing about how much a person knows.
i have a degree of a musical school , 12 years of piano there, and still feel like i know too little about music engineering. also people forget things really damn fast.

sound like a joke..... ....is it ?

Hehe. No it isn't a joke. It is a course that goes a bit broader than Philosophy in including more religious texts and approaches. Sometimes it is also called Intellectual History. The Department in Aarhus was made by a theologian, and the course does have some more reflections on the role of religion than philosophy. Although it can be hard to tell the difference I know. One summed it up as: In philosophy they like the truth, us at History of Ideas also like the lie. ;-)

ROTTERDXM: I have always wondered, but never bothered checking really, about the NLP. Could you sum it up shortly? What is the goal and content of the study?
