Hi everybody i'm new of the forum and i'm a noob psytrance addict too.
from some months i'm trying to learn to produce my favourite kind of psy: dark and high tech(not much appreciated at all but i love it).
i'm having many issues because i'm totally new about music production and i never played any instrument before... so as the subject of the post tells...i'm really noob.
One of my greatest problems is how to write midi patterns for high tech leads and how to let different leads and effects feat eachother to create that fast percussive and crazy lead acid lines that are in darkpsy and high tech... i noticed there are a lot of tracks from many different artists with almost the same sounds...just reprocessed or with a different midi pattern.
so my question is: there is a good technique to write notes for this kind of sounds? (fm leads, drones ecc) or i have to use arpeggiator or some other stuff? i really don't understand... i tried to produce something but it sounds so crap and not musical, not rythmic...just crap. if anyone can help me about that i will be so grateful.
i know there are some post about leads and this kind of stuff...but i didn't found anything about midi patterns and about putting different sounds on sequencer to make them sound well togheter... thanx again for patience and help...and sorry for my bad english

Do you have an example?

Also be patient. It takes alot of time to make a professional sounding production. You ll have to work for years before it sounds good to your ears. Keep going, don't give up and you ll get there one day           soundcloud.com/supergroover

Hey man.

I'm no high tech expert, but i think a lot of these leads are just the same note creating the ritme.
Use very short notes.

https://soundcloud.com/loose-connection/loose-connection-jelly-brain this is one of my favourite high tech tracks...i'm not here to say "hey, i wanna be cosmo or loose connection" lol...ablsolutely not... i just want to learn the technique to make that fast lead and fit eachother in a track...thanx again...i think this is a powerfull comunity...so glad to starting to be part of it!
