Not bad.
few pointers though.
get your volume priorities in order. make the bass sound a bit clearer and sharper so ppl can hear it.
use different sounds on the beat units (snares, hats, etc.,).
composition is ok, but the story and the buildups need work. |

Well, the stereo effects are neat, as far as production is concerned it sounds pretty good, i'd even say "respectably good" sound quality is on the border somewhere between professional and amateur, but still not pro sound quality, it also like very much the "tss tss" arangement (hi hat).
Bass is not so sharp, but that may just be the quality of sound. I didn't hear anything melodic, so there's really no emotion in the track. But overall i'd say that it's nice as an experimental, you should upload it to infected.co.il, you may get a review from erez.

Ok.
a few more notes dear ron,
1. bassline and melodics are at total dis-harmony.
2. special FX you put in (alien sounds etc) are at a way higher scale of volume than needed and they pretty much cloud other sounds.
3. stretch the danceable parts a little longer, and add some crashes. |

short lesson in musical theory.
make sure all samples have the same note (I use "C" or "Do", in it's proper name).
Make sure that all of the lines (bassline, melodies, fill) are in the same scale (eg. a melodic line in a minor scale will sound bad with a bassline in a major scale), if you never learned piano or anything, you can learn it the hard way (keep tweaking whatever sounds out of place until it does), which worked fine for me :). And try to make sure that the SFX are more or less in tone with the bassline (good example of how it's done is Sienis - Tales From the Trip with all of the cartoon samples there). |
