a new top10 rule.. make it easier for labels to track down the leaks..

So what about a rule..
*Everytime those three magic letters "unr" appear on a top.. the person who posted the top also has to tell where he got that certain unr from.. not just like "from a friend" but he has to tell if he got it straight from the label or other legimate source.. and if other then what.. then the labels can check out whether this is true or not.. and if it's not true.. the labels can contact you israguys and ask you to ban that certain user..
make it harder for traders to boost their ego..
what does this sound like?

sure, dismiss all moderators and hire ex-KGB agents instead.
that will surelly uncover some double agents, on the one hand they are respecfull dj's and on the other hand they are soulseek traders.

LOL, the KGB agents is a really good idea, will it be implemented????
I agree with you, Traveller, our TOP 10 is a treasure map for most traders, but even if we do it in our site, there are hundread other psyforums and sites in the net... well, at least we will have our conscience clean... but I found out a way to keep my conscience clean: I just don't post tops...

Only write the artist name, dont write the trackname if its unreleased! This is what i have started doing...i think others should too. What does a trackname mean to you anyway if you dont know the song. Its the artist you are digging/releasing that people wanna know about.
So yeh i suggest somethin like...
Sensient - "unr".....really amazing track oh my god this is so good cant believe it go buy his stuff right now cause wow i mean its really good and stuff  |

Demi - you've missed the point. This is about artists and labels not getting paid for their releases because nobody buys them. Every time you exchange tracks with someone you take money out of the pockets of artists and labels.

The people, who i exchange music with are mostly the musicians themselves and they always have some of thier production to give exactly for those promotional purposes! And they know that this music will not be spread! For the years ahead my unrlzd trax are kept and, in fact, i do buy original cds, though i am not rich. i never search for mp 3 exchange, because i dont like to get it like that! I appreciate best possible quality and am very picky about that.
so please i am not what u r takin me 4.
tell this story 2 smb else...
