Am I the only one who noticed that there is a new style of trance....Vocal Trance....there are lots of new tracks with singing or vcoal fx and i think we should find a name to this new style...
Vocal Trance sounds good to me.

I don't wanna sound rude, but to answer your first question:
No, I didn't notice any new style of trance... none what so ever. New styles aren't born with one element like vocals.
Besides, finding new styles definitions is a silly practice, because it just doesn't work.

Silent Scream i understand your words and this is something i have noticed myself in the past.
Many tracks indeed focus on vocals and even lyrics and this is i think a new trend in psy trance but for sure not yet a new style.
I think its a more 'mainstream trend' of our days.
I like it a lot by the way

And here we go again. I'd like people to stop making names up for every different song they encounter in psytrance. Just acknowledge the fact that there's a lot to this music, and don't give it another name. It'll just get confusing, and people will start bickering over things like... Well you know song X... that's just style Y... and another one goes: you're totally wrong man, song Y is style X... etc etc. You see my point?? Let's keep it simple and GOOD people!!

one more topic about new styles of psytrance...
i think that it's a simple sample that the artists include on the beats-and-bass of the tunes. nothing more.

its not a new style its kinda of a sub-style....for example the new Infected Mushroom EP(Cities Of The Future)
there is a sining all over the track....i think that element givs a totally new dimension to trance and that will be developed with the years.
artists will consetrate more in the vocals and less in melodies and fx...and evetually trance will be something totally diffrent...this is how i think trance is headed.
and im glad for that....maybe it will be more Mainstream..but i dont care i like singin with a track while im listening to it in the car or in a party....finnaly trance can get meaning too.

Trance allways had meaning. (at least big part of it)
Words are less meaningful to me than music. Allways been this way for me.

to me, vocals in a trance track makes it a 'song', with an implied idea or message of it's own. A lot of us fell in love with psytrance because it had no words. it allowed us to make up our own words. our own feelings. our own meaning and message.
If I wanted to listen to someone else's trip, I'd turn on the radio.
