Very crisp. This is really minimal music (not the pseudominimal dark progressive psytrance some people call minimal) - funky, tight, crunchy and at times quite twisted. Also with some occasional beautiful uplifting elements - my favourite must be the last classic remix with the enchanting vocals
Thanks a bunch - now I have sudden urge to give some of my old Kompakt releases a listen

nice selection... 'the sky was pink (holden rmx)' is truly a masterpiece.

ladies and gentleman, please check that your goggles, scuba gear, and underwater bong are securely fastened and funtioning properly. the next stop on the marcus mix itinerary is the bottom of the deep seas of sound, still relatively unexplored, where strange and fantastic creatures dwell if you look closely enough to see them. what you might see will surprise and shock you!
absolutely wonderful mix!! is it just me, or is marcus the smoother mixer you've ever heard? i seriously couldn't detect a single seam in the mixes--it's all woven into one deep fabric. |
