R.I.P. sad love Ravi Music for 20 years, alwas wished to expirience live and never happend.
Timeless music, spiritual enlightened master. What a loss to real music world.
btw in that Monterey vid - is a second where Jimi Hendrix sits quite far out in the audience just a scond maybe someone spot him.
..also his books are very recommendable.. my favourite I read from him ..over 200 pages in one turn in the library
because this book is over 200 euros if you find it and want to buy it in the internet - its from the 60s about his life. He got many but in this about his life there are really inredible storys also about his spiritual teachears in all appearances, it's as special as his music is.

oh man... in germany this video is not allowed due to GEMA i know this video in and out but my quality is on VHS and for sure about 100 times seen would be great to see it again in qood quality          https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Brilliant musician, had me going to the Indian music society in Cambridge. I wanted to learn the Sitar, but they did not have one for new students. I did not have the money to buy one, but bought tablas and was tought by a blind teacher there who played both Sitar and tablas.

This sort of music is the the best psychedelic music that does not involve electronics, imo.
