What do you think the trance scene is going to look like,  in lets say 5 years?

Some people I know say its going to be forgotten in less than 2 years(bullshit), some say its going to grow and be more recognized. I my self really dont have any idea, do you?

Personally i hope that it stays a bit underground like nowadays(?) but if it gets bigger and bigger more people are gonna smel cash in it and than there will be drastic changes i think: for more money the'll need a bigger "crowd" therefor they will commercialise it more and the true psychedilic will have to move for easier listening tunes, cheesier trance...
People who stay true to its believes and the 25th lys. connection will dissapear in a real underground scene...
Hopefully the real artists won't go the commercial way and keep on making true psychedilicatesse.....

Trance has already gone to a more commercial side. The scene is growing, people are creating tracks just for selling, labels support the creators who create stuff as commercial as possible (inside the trance scene, like Ticon, or outside of it like Yahel). Yes, the "fathers" still do their own thing, and most of the artists do, but many are just copying ideas off acts like GMS, Deedrah, Son Kite and/or Ticon.

It's a matter of time before the psy scene will split up into smaller scenes like the house scene in London for instance.

But there will always be the people who make the quality music. Let's hope they continue to lead the way.

why more Evil?

the opposite man! :) I wish we could go back to those happy days when you hear a track and you want to cry! Your heart beats faster just of the beauty of the damned track!

I think Australia gonna lead a new line of psychedelic-goa which will be the most innovative sound of all! an this must spread... an so many artists who thought techno is easy - would vanish because they wouldn't know how to get closer to the new kind of music - and so labels won't want them anymore :) hehehehe yea!

i think that its gonna be even more commercialized until theres a new scene that everyone is gonna run to and then the trance scene will return 2 its sources
