well finally i have moved from logic back to cubase and what can i tell you...i cant believe i waisted 3 years on that crapy logic(doesnt matter now i came here to ask something diffrent).
i have a virus c, and i have a few questions about automation. Basically in the midi devicer manager i have improted the virus c set up which looks very nice but i kind of dont get my hands on it when i try to automate it. so first question.
1) i press R and W and press record and play lets say with cutoff 1(which is CC 40) on the device in cubase not on the hardware itself, now the program records the automation and in the midi device manager the knob is moving and turning but it doesnt show me any information in the automation. so where was this automation recorded to??
2) basiclly in logic i could just turn the knob and it will tell me which controler number it is is there any way to do that in logic???
3)I want to actually tweak the knob and that cubase will draw it automaticcly in the automation window how??
thats it for now. the more i discover cubase back the more smile i get on my face...
