Im trying to make a bass like this

How do i give the low bass that drive/dirtyness like in the track?
I tried some distortion, but dont think it works very well on a sinewave..

it sounds like you have too much env controlling the filter. maby use a triangle instead of sine

also sounds like its sidechained, yours has too sharp attack

not sure but it seems the interactive noise track got a bass which already starts at the kick but gets sidechained pretty hard. therefore theres a smooth attack and almost no click in the bass sound. the click comes from a seperate element in the track. in your track the click is also handled by the bass. hope that helps           :O!

Ive been listening to some of his other tracks, and it sure sounds like he is using some percussive sounds to punch the basses.
