Defenitley AKG k240 or Sennheiser HD25 if u want a true picture of the sound.
don't use the sony, they have a good volume but their bass is misleading (approx +3 DB at the 80Hz range)

I own a pair of AKG 240 DF headphones and use them alongside studio monitors. The AKG's are really good i.m.o. |

I have seen very different prices for both phones: AKG k240m (around 99) and Sennheiser HD 25 (around 180)... and I also saw pictures. I must say the Sennheiser looks a little more comfortable. Any comments about that aspect of the product?
And about sound quality, are they similar? Its seems so and now... damn... I´m starting to consider more the AKG due to the price.

Well ihave same problem and when i workin' late i use MB QUART 400. That headphones have a good panarama... But u still need monitors |

As for the comfort-factor of the AKG headphones: they are the most comfortable headphones I've ever had on my ears. You can have 'em your head for a few hours, of course you need to take a break now and then. |
