I obviously realize this is not really most people on here's cup of tea, but I'm posting it anyway for those who just want to dance to PSYTRANCE this weekend; regardless of setting, or if you don't mind Kandy Raves.
Yes, I have warned you this is definitely a "KANDY RAVE." There will be kids everywhere, decked out to the core with beads and bright colors. But it also just so happens that there's going to be a great PSY lineup!

Haha, thanks for the good wishes.
Yeah I was surprised too when I first heard that "THE KANDY FESTIVAL" (of all parties) would be having a PSYTRANCE room; let alone one including local PSY-party associated DJ's (in addition to n00bies).
It should be interesting to say the least. Yeah, no love on the flyer.
It's funny, I played at a party a couple months ago where the theme was "Trance vs Psytrance" but they ended up making PSYTRANCE into STAGE 3 (stage 1 was trance, stage 2 was house). However, in the end "STAGE 3" became the main stage at the party.

I thought that was you playing when I got in there in Elsinore! I should've introduced myself. Next time.
I'm half tempted to go to this Kandy Festival if I wasn't going to the Resonance on the 24th. It'd be interesting for me to see Andrew playing there. San Bernandino is lots closer than San Francisco, but I am looking forward to getting North and seeing aliens and monks.
I hope things go well for you at this. Evolve them? Yeah, it can happen. Psytrance has a way of doing that. - - -

YEAH come talk to me sometime! I love to put faces to names.
Have a lot of fun up North. I've heard nothing but great things about the scene up there. One of these days I'm going to have to find out for myself.

Damn I wish the kandy raves here in PHX would include a psytrance lineup every now and again. There's plenty of talent to fill that gap, but no one seems to be interested. Good luck with the evolving.

They do that in Pittsburgh too from time to time. Ravers out there love sum psytrance!
There was a party I played at called Candy 4 Kids a couple years ago which was supposed to be in Pitt, but got moved to Wellsville, OH. The room I played in was actually the Psytrance/Hardcore room. I had a blast playing, but that's probably because I don't mind going to "raves" from time to time.

I had a blast! That was a packed party! There had to be at least several hundred JUST in the PSY room. Over 5000 people, perhaps closer to 10K total. VERY CROWDED, hard to walk. They need a bigger venue.
go.. I'll need something to knaw on for this one
