i know its not that common for psy, because
you nearly can tweak synths to everything you
want them to sound like.
however, if you cant change the soundsource
and the eq dont fix the problem you can add
extra fullness, warmth or sparkle with this:
send effect:
-distortion (any kind of)
-eq (cut out freqs you dont want)
now tweak the fader of the send effect channel to the right level.
i know it dont looks that spectacular, but it
amazes me how it works...
its like layering and you can eq the layer.
the distortion adds note related harmonics (an EQ cant do that).
maybe this helps someone too.
