1. It would be nice to know which moderator locks a certain topic...
2. The IM that Arafela send you sould also tell you which moderator has deleted your post..

I agree with both suggestions.
In case your thread was locked or a post deleted, it's better to know which mod did it so you can contact him (or her) and ask why if you don't get it on your own. It's more important in sections with a lot of mods (north america with 4 for example) and for cases when a super-mod does that.
I'm for it, but I guess it will wait.

Certain topics/posts mite be 'self-locking' with your 'superior' moderating in the forums that you moderate...but some forums really do need this..

Great idea Bholenath, maybe we should add adress and IP and social status, maybe account number and license plates too?
no seriously... Unless u do something "illegal" according to the well written guidelines u are ok, but if u break the rules it gets deleted... so everytime u write, read it once to be sure it stays there without getting deleted...

simple answer: history has shown us mods that some users are too eager to get even with a moderator who locked/deleted sth. it can (it has happened and it wasn't nice) get pretty nasty. so there's actually a justification for this kinda thing.
plus, the user who wants to know who locked a particular post is more than welcome to ask the section moderator. if there is more than one - ask one of them, he will get it across to the other ones (one of the reasons we have our own forum).

Exactly...though in some cases...(Its good not to take names)..its a mod having 'fun' and now quite a few of the sections of the forum have more than one mod..so thats why...its just a small suggestion...if Isra wants to consider it..then well and good..if not...who are we to say anything...they have pretty much made good decisions with this forum in the past..

i agree there must be order and the mods must do their obligations, but i am also sure that mods are not always right and sometimes they take it too way serious! some fixings make me move from the North Amerika section to the Russian and Indian one(its more FUN there!) and mod-s there seem 2 be more loyal !
i can also agree that i am not 100% pure (i am a dirty animal!)<right> and there are always IMHO(my own crystal spectre! )!!!! 4 each reply and it is not always we are OBJECTIVE! and positive(why not be stingy sometimes! u dont have 2 smile like in MkDonalds Cafe!!! heh)
lets teach each other ...
lets improve or be improved reasonably...
otherwise... lets just keep silence, while the trippp is going on and on and on...
