Well I finaly got to hear DJ Gula K spin and here is my (as far as posible) purely technical, no tastes or whatsoever involved, oppinion.
Gula girl you are very good BUT you need hours more of practice on decks and mixer just to grt the technique polished. without that you are still only a good DJ and not an Excelent DJ. (still quite better then 80% of DJ's I've heard this last year) girl, once you've opened the second channel for the mix the work on the CDJ isn't finnished, if the tracks don't quite sit FIX IT with the jogger, don't let the glitch dictate when to lose a track, you hear a glitch - FIX IT. and some more creative EQing please. as to track choice, I enjoyed the set immensly although you could drop that logic bomb in the start. but if the mixing would have been more flowing and free I would have enjoyed it even more!!!
Now get to work girl!!!

i didn't like your set girl, you seem nice and everything but sorry, it sure didn't fit there.

Eyal finished with some crazy happy morning tracks and then u went back to minimalistic morning? that was such a basa... = and i really waited for your set.

Ahh well.. maybe next time.
have a great day.

i say enough with with this cheesy slizzy music in the morning
when will you stop pilling all the time and listen to the real music?
Excellent set Gula, keep on full on.

Gula should have played earlier!

I had to leave in the middle of the set (unfortunately, I had to bring the car back to Haifa), and there was a lot of full-on energy in her set, and it would have been so nice as a softer transition to the cheesy morning bits and not the other way around :)

I'm sad I didn't hear the set all the way through, but as a first time hearing Gula K - keep kickin' it girl!

I agree with you Asaf. She should have played instead of Eyal Yankovich. She has a great future ahead.

It was my first experience with GulaK playing and she didn't disappointed me. The set was great, even that, as Boris said, her mixing need to be practiced a bit. I tryed to went out of the dance floor for a number of times, but did it only after she went on more ambient vibes. Her music won't let me go down ... Cheers

i think she played right at the place
may be she could play before Eyal, but anyway it was right in the place after happy morning tunes again some groovy and "meat" to dance;)
dunno about her dj skills, it's 1st time i heard her and noticed only 2-3 mistakes in my ears..everybody does it. I think Gaby was the best and gave real fucking unbeleivable DJ set;)
And regarding Gula, she's all right and her music was simply great!
