Myeah, it needs probably 3 times more stuff to be a real track.
I would break the first synth up (the piano/ marimba/ xylophonish whatever?) into one or several more layered instruments, perhaps with a different accoustic and slightly different harmonic cycling between the musical concepts outlined in the first part. That way you can still keep the idea of introducing one of them first like you did. |
