So.. you wander in the woods inspired by fresh and vivid music of dark psy that is still in your ears?

There is a time and place for everything, so called dark psy at the right moment at night is great, but in the moring or continuesly(or progressive or full on) doesnt work. |

I like darkpsy, but it's better at certain times and only for a few hours. The exception is Gil, but that's almost a whole 'nother matter.
Problem is events need flow, and they need a bell curve approach. Start slow, work up to heavy tunes and then transition back down. I think what causes some friction is when a show is solid heavy/dark tunes. At 9 AM-ish the sound really needs to lighten up.
Opening new people up to psytrance also requires some variation and lighter music. Keep playing only darkpsy for entire events and watch your local community shrink to tiny numbers in a year or two...IMHO of course.

Generally, no.
Though IMO, I would like Darkpsy a lot more if he had better mastering.
He killed it at Boom 2004 though! |

I mean, we know you are from the NSA, and you are here to make sure that no one dances anymore...
there are a few like you...
I know a couple of artists in town, and surprising enough, I have never heard one of them ever call their music dark... I think, at best this is an argument left for 2006...
