Well what do you think about this?
You create 3 boards:
The Best Artist Ever
&
The Best Album Ever
&
The Best Song Ever
..then when exactly 1 week/1 month/whatever, has passed by you will lock the boards, count the votes, declare the winners & then delete the boards..
it could work..

1. as we said over and over again: there is no way to do a fair voting.
2. the whole idea of "the best" of something is pointless.
there is no such thing as "the best" !!!
its all about taste.

why overburdening?!I think you guys are missing the point here by offering Multithreading. you want this place to look like walla or worse, trance.co.il, making a new forum for every little bit and piece? what's next? a special section for simon postford fans (Typo is intentional)

Sometimes this forum, it's administrators, it's moderators, it's users & it's policies really funking piss me off.
There is absolutely no funking point in suggesting anything new here. Every funking time the almighty moderators just come there & play god, disrespect the author & finally lock the thread up.

There's no moderator reply in this thread, up till this one, that is.
The reason I'll oppose any 'best of' thing is that I'm against that in general. I don't view life as a contest, I don't like rat race mentality. I owe that view on life to trance parties, and I'll use all my weight here (which is considerable, damn that junkfood...) to leave this out of this site.
If some music does something to you- I think it's better to express it not in 'this is the best, and fuck all the rest', but in a deeper way.
As for conservative- I don't think that this site or the people running it are leading conservative lives.
And New/Different does not necessary equals Quality. We're after quality here.
And as for getting pissed off, lika one baba once said to me- what to do.

as usual shahar got a point, and mr pot, we are not gods nor self-god-illusioners... we are just people like u... And pissing off isnt good at a lovely place like this!
