Greetings,

I'm Dan Costa, a 23 years old Brazillian DJ. I've just recorded my latest PROMO Set and I was wondering if you guys could listen to it! Here is the link:

VA - 7 Chakras - Mixed & Compiled by DJ Yoshi [PROMO] - 2008
@ http://www.mediafire.com/?mrom4jiazjz | PWD: 7chakras
Genre: Full-On | Length: 49'35'' | Size: 90.7 MB | Codec: 256kbps

I've been experimenting with a few new ideas about mixing and this is the result...The theme of the '7 Chakras' brings the notion of feelings & emotions all together while listening to trance music, I've tried to MIX all of them using MUSIC! People don't think too much while dancing right?! Music is the INPUT, Dancing is the OUTPUT! I pray I can make you guys dance a little hehe!

Anyways, if you guys could be kind enough to enlighten me with some feedback, that would be great! I'm always welcome to criticism, I think that's the only way to know if I'm in the right track or not...Talk to the PROs!!!

Thanks for your time and attention!

BooM! Good Vibes to us all!

Truly, Dan aka DJ Yoshi

PS: If tracklist is wanted..PM me ok?

to answer your question about the track list
being required, well for me it is essential as
there are so many sets around, some are for me and some are for others, if I see a list I normally
always d/l it, whats to lose, if the Dj has mixed
a set and given a list its the least we can do.

so for me I like, wrong word, love a track list
saves filling my head with hundreds of titles.

d/l as I write post later, maybe tomorrow.

thanks for sharing your work

Steady intro section of 2 tracks, then we really
started to get the great music with the great
beat. In fact from this point we were flying
high, sound was now perfect.

The handling was as good as you will get, very
impressive, will be looking for further sets
from this great Dj. Transition between 4 and 5
was as professional as I have heard and the
others were also excellent just picked that
one out because I thought it was very good.

Track selection was grade one the use of the
Safi Connection track was a master stroke this
will certainly get the members coming back for
more, well it will get me back.

excellent work - thanks for sharing.

cheers

WOW!!! Hey 'dereklangold'!!!

Man! I can't say I didn't get all emotional with yer words mate! I'd like to THANK YOU for your "complete review" hehe!

It's good to know you liked my work. It's really hard these days cuz most of the ppl don't actually pay attention to music...I'm particularly happy cuz I think you got the message I try to pass with my music, technic and good music mixed all together to provide a good time on the dance floor!

Everytime I record a SET I'm really concerned with what ppl will hear of it...that includes mixing technic(trying to leave it as harmonic as possible) and the track selection...

Safi Connection was my trick to get the groove on hehe...I REALLY like that track!

You will have more of my work as soon as I get the time to record it hehe...I'm planning on releasing a Dark Psy mix and a new Morning Full-On mix as well...

If I may ask...please forward the SET to whoever you like! I'm trying to get signed to clubs and partys here in Brazil! Maybe 2008 will be the year for me!

Thanks again friend! Honestly...

BooM!

Dan aka DJ Yoshi

Its always a pleasure to post to an excellent set and yours was one of the best I have heard for a long time.
It seems such a pity to use your excellent talents on dreadful Dark Psy when you are so great on full on tracks, just an observation, you obviously feel there is a market for that dross but I would stick with what I was good at and take a chance on a different genre. You will possibly be great at it, but a lot of members wont even bother to d/l the set, maybe.
I hate to lose a brilliant Dj of our fullon psytrance when we have only just found you.

Thanks for your kind comments they are appreciated.
