Sektor666 ,
i havent tried it so i cant say how good it is.,
but since Windows XP is multitasking is doesnt realy matter that much.,
if you disable most services and unwanted processes you've got a pretty clean windows.,
but it may be worth to try it., !!
but again, i dont know what it does., propably the same things i do by hand .,
do you have a link?
when it comes to speed then Win98 is king (or even dos ) .,
but the problem is that drivers for new hardware are not so common anymore,.
and it's less stable than XP.,
neutron,
yes it is!.,
but you need to know what it means for a cpu to be 64 bits
greets.

g5 dual cpu work at 128bits or at 64 .. but i think is at 128 new tecnologie... but .. this thing of bits in cpus .. its only a mather of enderecing stuff .. it only enderece more stuff so .. its good and bad ... because .. if with 32 bits .. u can enderence milions of bites for each enderece with 64 or 128 u enderece many times more .. so .. its more probable your pc to crash because it handle with much more information at the time... but for outher case .. u develop more work in few registrys pairs ,,,it means that .. with lesse cpu process u can handle more stuff .. but its a field that need to be very knowed first .. many problems will ocure on this eheh
and for does who whant a pretty clean XP ...for music creation
here it goes a nice link for

"its more probable your pc to crash because it handle with much more information at the time"
this is nonsense.,
crashes have to do with programming errors, not with number of data processed.,,.
software that works should not break suddenly.,
for programmers 64bits cpu's are basically transparent., the compiler takes care of everything.,
so there is an equal chance that an error will occur.,
of course the compilers are newer and contain more bugs so that is true.,
but it's just a matter of time untill the developement environment is mature enough.,
