My KX Project documentation says that the driver is "fixed" at 48kHz. On the KX ASIO Control Panel I can select between 44.1kHz and 48kHz? Both seem to work fine. What are the implications if planning to mix back down to CD (ie 44.1)??? How does it affect a VSTs tuning? If it does?
I dont understand how I can get 44.1kHz. Is there some kind of internal "dithering" (or whatever) to the output frequency. The normal Creative drivers are 44.1
Tnx!

The exact wording is:
"Note that due to hardware limitations the kX ASIO driver is locked at a sample rate of 48kHz (both 10k1 and 10k2 have fixed samplerate)."
This include my CT4830 sb live? Im sure its actually an EMU 10k1 chip. No?

you should work in 48 i think.,
and leave the downsampling for the mastering stage.,
otherwise you will go from 44.1 (sequencer) to 48 (sb drive) to 44.1 again (final master) ,.
and this conversion is done on the fly so it's not the best quality i think.,
greets.,
