On Saturday, April 21st we will follow up last November's Fuguchill event with another downtempo/midtempo party. This time around, the gathering will take place in the open air outside of Austin. We're pleased to have KiloWatts back again, and honored to have Bluetech playing his first show in Texas.

Be sure to bring lots of stuff to ensure your comfort throughout the night. We strongly suggest that everyone bring camping supplies including tents, flashlights, bug spray, etc. in addition to the usual items such as drinks, snacks, water, and blankets. To maintain a safe and comfortable vibe, you are encouraged to pass the word on to friendly, good-energy people, but please do not post information about our events on any other public forums or mailing lists.

Likewise, admittance is by RSVP only. The RSVP list will be checked at the door. Directions to the location will not be posted on the website and will only be emailed to those that have RSVP'd. RSVP at http://www.fugutrance.com

This event is 18+. $15 before 10pm, $20 after.

Music by...

Gift Culture (Artificial Music Machine; Dallas): Gift Culture is the downtempo project of Mike from Initialization String. His music fuses cutting-edge audio technology with an emotional sensibility and organic elements. We're very happy to have him performing as Gift Culture for the first time at a Fugu Trance event since Pardalis last October.

Nod (TOUCH Samadhi; Asheville): Don is another member of the North Carolina based collective that has graced our parties with Kri, Shapestatic, and Blue Spectral Monkey. He specializes in downtempo/midtempo psy music and psydub. His set will form a bridge between Gift Culture's lush downtempo soundscapes and Bluetech's midtempo set.

Bluetech (Aleph Zero, Native State; Portland): Evan is a classically trained pianist and master of the art of software production. His love of the melodic and exquisite sense of aural design puts him at the forefront of contemporary electronic production. The Bluetech sound emerges from his custom-built Reaktor instruments and software based synthesizers. He has played at countless festivals and parties all over the world. We look forward to have him performing the Bluetech material in Austin for the first time.

Kilowatts (Artificial Music Machine; Philadelphia): Jamie's performance at Fuguchill last November was so amazing that we had to have him back asap. Those who were there know to expect impeccably produced breakbeat/idm/glitch manipulated live for optimal effect on the crowd.

Mr. Fang vs. Navi_Cat (Artificial Music Machine; Austin): Thomas, co-founder of the Artificial Music Machine label, and Adrienne are both veteran djs with a diverse electronic collection who dj'd at Radio One Austin, an unlicensed community radio station. We're honored to have two individuals who have contributed greatly to electronic music in Texas taking the gathering through the last portion of its musical journey.

Thanks to everyone that came out. Perfect chill vibe and great music from Bluetech and KiloWatts. KiloWatts even managed to get a good dancefloor going.
