hi all wanted to add my thanks to the empire guys for a great production~

A pure progressive party all along the way is not something you see everyday (not every empire party even) but this one was at least for me a dream come true in a way..

a long tribal gathering where the music didnt pass the 140 bpm limit almost and still got around 1000 ppl to the desert and in the end of the party there were around 150 ppl still dancing on the dancefloor with some tens more scattered all around the chillout and the neighbouring hills...

Deco was great just perfect for the desert nothing too fancy but all in spot, VJs had some problems during the night but managed to work things out eventually..

Music: I came around 02:00 and the music just started Vax supported with amir spineless gave a pretty groovy proggy night set quite flowing and good mixes generally! good opening set.
Then came Etic first with a dj set which was quite cool although some tracks there belong more to the morning time, and his live act which fitted exactly to the time it was played pumping minimal proggy!

Then came Aerospace "the shantinator" who gave a very well built Live act of his new and old stuff i didnt hear some of the tracks before and it was indeed a pleasent surprise to see Guy making great progress in his music!
After him came haidn Antix! his live act was awesome great tribal beats specially fit to the desert, his laptop crashed on the last track so he moved to his DJ set which was cool and all but didnt really fit the time.

I back Etic here that it would have been better to switch between him and Aerospace for a better flow (but we are all smart in the aftermath..)..

I played after him and here i must confess I was a bit confused as to which direction should i take my set thats why i started with 2 "shy" tracks as yuli described them and then moved up and in the end down again.
I would like to appologize for those who my set was too slow or minimal to their tastes, but I was invited to play the last set in a wholly progressive party, being the owner and manager of the only progressive label in Israel I felt it my duty to represent my own theory about late morning outdoor sets..

I was sure that some people will find it not "strong " enough or lacking some full onism like i know that if i played a faster set the more proggy heads will complain it was too fast or aggressive for them.. its a clear no win situation so i chose to give my own perspective and I'm happy for it, there are enough full on morning sets spread all over the country every weekend but only one 3rd empire party

All in all wanted to thank the empire crew for their marvelous work and meet soon in the next one hopefully!

Respect and love

pa paw

got there while vax was finishing his set, from what i heard it had a nice nighty warm up atmosphere.
just the way it should be
from etic i enjoyd the live much more then the dj set, flowing and nicely built
mr. Bday was a real surprise for me:) nice one baba! much less psy then i thought and lots of funny parts
and mr.storm brother gave us the slowst morning set israel ever known hehe
most of the live i spent on some mountain and it sure sounded deep and very emotional
but the dj set was a candy seeing ppl move and shake to a prog house set @ 09:00 out in the freaking desert??!
well done
and nadi wraped it up nicely... moslty enjoyd the first 1.5 hours

havent been @ freq party, so the location was nu 4 me 2, realy nice set up... the lighted sign rox
and was great seein all the familiar faces

i had a great time
thanx boyz&galz

c u next time

nadi-every downhill has its uphill, your "grinding" opening set usualy builds up much more strength in ppl twards the uphill, it might be a bit anoying, but the outcome can be seen in the replys.
outdoor - cool one, but dont u think u need to add 3 more red faces be4 going to bad?           The gull sees farthest who flies highest.

I'd like to start out by mentioning the invitations. Beautiful work done there. Art!

Arrived after a lovely ride by WTFbus to the location where I first came upon the Empires. I was really glad to be back there, one of the nicest experiences I have experienced.
I had such a blast seeing the usual Empire crowd & many friends laughing, smiling and just feeling at their best.
I really enjoyed Vax's set, even though I only got the chance of hearing the end.
Etic's live was impressive. Good one.
As said above, MVP award goes to birthday boy, GuyShanti! Happy Birthday and halla arayot STYLE!
Unfortunatly, I only got to hear some of Antix's live + dj set. Too much alcohol and I fell asleep.
I awoke in the middle of Nadi's set, still alittle dazed from my sleep, got myself back on the dancefloor and flew up up and away.

It was another nice experience that passed by so quickly, but the memories will remain in our hearts and souls.
Thank you Empire crew for working so hard in order to put a smile on our face and give us energies for the new week.
Big thanks to our captain Maya B, for a pleasent ride. " ALL ABOARD . . . !! "
See ya soon.
Live for the journey, not the destination.
