huda baba, dont take it too personal man.
no1 said that u dont understand trance...
its totaly legitimate that some ppl wont like your set... taste, u know.
about the party...
again, the road was loooooooooong
but these guys r among the very few orgenizers that can drag me out of my place into the car and start driving
the location was realy kul, lovely landscapes when u r in the middle of it between few trees that looked like they where brought to there specialy for shade and deco hangings
the music...
personaly, i also didnt connected much to huda`s set. i dont have problems with variety in sets, on the contrary... colorfull sets r most welcome from my side. it just didnt flow much for me...
but it kept a nice full dancefloor, so i guess it was good after all
and andromeda gave a REALY nice set. i totaly digg his stuff
tho a bit better mix could made it much better.
but the best thing was that this "fluffy" "housy" set kept a realy nice dancefloor on its feet, ppl didnt droped to chill just flow with the groove enjoyed the melodies and watched the sun going up in the sky. atleast, this is what i did
a bit b4 he ended his set i had to leave, so i missed the "closing".
but too bad that the ppl didnt got the chance to enjoy the yotopia guys much (bring them next time, hint hint )
so to sum it up... it was realy nice healthy party for me, i realy dont remeber when i laught that much.
one hell of a funny party!!
c u next time
much love 2 all!

Huda-G, you know how to accept good words and feedback, but u defenitely do not know how to accept criticism.
Almost everybody here in this thread said they didn't connect to your set. Nobody said you were "horrible, bad, awful" etc etc. Everybody here accepts the fact that u played differently, but they personally didn't like it. It's their right to express their opinion, and most of us here (who expressed our opinion) are not 18 year old kids. So instead of being hurt, how about hearing what almost everybody here said and trying to do something about it?

Huda, I agree that to be critisized feels pretty bad- especially when you feel completly fine with it..
I dont think my opinion comes from not being open- minded or stuck at progressive vs. full-on... I only think that some of us expected the charecter of this party to be more on the progressive side.. that's all.
and in my opinion veraiety in a set dont always fit all - thats why its called- veraiety
Also, no-body is pretending to be a big trance specialist - its purely taste differences.
respect. |

hey pepole,i wass not afended buy eny words or critisisem ,only was a bit disepointed from some pepole that dident try to hear the story thro the set end trayng to put it in a squer (fullon, prog ),the only critisisem i realy take to my hart is the dance floor.
the only reason i seyd what i seyd is to open pepols mind end let them anderstand that thare is more then one whey to enjoy a dj set end that im trayng to do my best to bring a difrent color to evhry dj set i pley after all i pley for them.
this is not abut my ego or my feelings only abut the music !

Haven't been to the party altho planned but this discussion is very interesting tho...
For a long while now I really try that my sets will not be bounded to any style and that the proggy ppl will like it as much as full on ppl will like it and clubbers will like it as psy freaks.... It means I claim that all the tracks are mixeable as long as u know what u r doing and where u want to take off next and what will happen half an hour from now... That is one
Second thing is that especially when dealing with proggy party, hour or so of more Full on music that is a little more hard on the dance floor can do only good for the party from all aspects
