 ..i knew it ....first time i saw 3d stereograms 7-8 years ago ..there were real photos ...i couldn`t believe they can be also seen on screen/monitor ...
you have to look at the photo, but you have to fix your look/eyes somewhere behind photo, behind computer monitor ....you have to look through the photo ..you can`t see 3d stereogram if you watch the photo "normal" becouse it`s a real 3d ..like in reality .....
it`s amazing ...real psychedelic .....once you got it, you will be able to "come in" to 3d stereogram only for couple of seconds ....so keep trying
