Finally got this last week. Got the unmixed digital version from Juno, even though I will miss out on the beautiful artwork but I wanted unmixed more than something to look at.
Anyway, excellent excellent album. Loving it completely and is on semi-permanent rotation in the car and in the house.
Favourite track at the mo is track 3. Stunning!
Asura's best work yet, IMHO.

^ btw, if someone wants to send me a scan of the back cover I'd be ever so grateful.
(the only problem with digital downloads is they don't include anything more than the front cover. Why don't they include at least the back cover with the tracklist as well?) |

Pulled out my "360" CD yesterday.
Man, this album gets better and better with time. It is so full of atmosphere and emotion. Hauntingly beautiful. Mystical.
Those tracks take me far far away. . .
Gorgeous sound designs and wonderful artwork.
A top quality album!
Thank you again Charles and Ultimae for this deep journey

Thank you again for your kind words Gad, I am happy it grows on you. My next album will be a space ambient one. A different point of view I would say. |

Yes, I read some of your posts on facebook about it. Sounds delicious
I don't use facebook, so that's why I didn't say anything in there.
Anyway, looking forward and will buy it for sure.
Cheers !

Space ambient!!! I encourage!
I'd love to see true atmospheric ambient (not strictly space) done more often by real musicians (mystery of the yeti 1 and in part 2 r gr8 examples of pure atmosphere blended with music) |

A few days ago I talked my uncle and somehow "360" came up in the conversation and it reminded me how much I enjoyed listening to it during the first couple of weeks after I got it, and how much I love this album. It was almost the only thing I listened to during those two weeks. That's why I sent you that email a few days ago Charles, because of that reminder
Since that conversation with my uncle I was dying to listen to it again and realised it's been a while since I listened to it. So finally, two days ago I got the chance to dive into it again, and it was really late at night, and the only sounds I heard were "360" sounds. It was one of those times when you rediscover an album and you really feel it in its full power and glory, when you simply become one with the music and hear each and every sound. I really enjoyed it back then when I first got it, but I also already knew right there that I will discover new depths and feel it in a deeper way and on that night a couple of days ago I did. Of course it also got to do with how a person feels in that period of his or her life when listening to certain album. Sometimes it just fits more to your state of mind and sometimes a bit less. Sometimes the mind is simply more open.
Also, for those of you who didn't read the story behind the album , here it is:
http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=106457240133&topic=14688
And as you said there Charles ( post number 10 ), each person feels the music in a different way. That is indeed what's amazing about music - how one's pain and artistic vision that turned into sonic love can fill people's hearts with wonder and warmth. Your music is soulful.
Sorry for babbling on like this, just wanted to share my experience with the album.
Cheers !

Also pulled it out again (just because of this topic popping up).
Quiet cool, but sometimes too melancholic (I can understand the melancholy though!) for me right now.
It deffenitly will be a long time-very good album, though. |

Here is the English translation of the poem and sentence in French that are printed inside the "360" booklet:
MOMENT
"A moment made of love
walks along the day,
from lines of my hand,
where I read my fate.
A moment of this reign,
which often scares me,
that a flame would vanish
like a time of happiness.
A frenzy moment,
to you knelt down,
which keeping me inflamed to the fire of memory.
A moment which goes away,
like goes away the bird,
like a sparkle of water
flows towards the brook.
A moment made of cries,
to wounds of the heart,
calmed down by the years,
forgotten by Time."
And the sentence in "Le Dernier Voyage":
"And leaves of Time fall down like cries."
Thank you Charles for providing those translations
