In 1999, while being at a party in the common (for these kind of events) place 'Menashe forests', T' was arrested together with some other people, in suspicion of using drugs during the party. Charge sheets were given agienst all of them Immediately .
T',who was accused of carrying 1.7grammes (!) of cannabis, has claimed that the drugs were not his, however officer Shai zohar has claimed that he saw T's throwing a paper with drugs on it. The officer's testimony tiped the scales, and T' was convicted.
Two years later, during the waiting-period for the judgment, the two have met coincidentaly. While having a friendly conversion, the officer has admited that he lied while giving his testimony (He admited that he simply was enthusiastic, since he was a young officer then).
He turned his testimony and even recorded it. Couple of days ago, after bringing the cassette to court, the officer related: " I felt i was doing injustice to somebody". As a result of his new testimony, the charge sheet and the conviction were cancelled by the judge.

This is a story of a person, which all his will was having fun at a nature TRANCE party…
The rest of the people who were arrested are not mentioned, but we can easily find here a bad taste of an (again) extremely outrageous stigma. That’s the reason I had some kind of compulsion to bring this article to you.

You can read the whole short article in ''Yedioth Ahronot'' from the 26.04, page num 7, was written by Israel moskovich (Unfortunatelly, no link has been found untill that moment on the net).

hello.....
thats a nice story with a good end....
im was happy to read that....
and btw i think that there is a stigma on nature parties but me and my uncle making that kind of parties and its legal but no drugz allowed and if they catch drugz at the party they taking the equipment but if they see that the party organizer had no connection to the drugz at the party they bring the equipment back to the party organizer
so i dont see a problem to make those partiies but drugz can blow it off.....

a. Well, i don't know neither what the judge told him after he found out that he lied while giving his testimony. Does it really matter?
b. Let's not turn this issue on again, if the police is this or that and so. Don't get me wrong, big injustice was caused to this guy (he is not my friend, i actually know him as well as you probably do ) since that party and quite long period will be required for him to "clean" his name (there would be always people who won't be totally convinced by the new court's decision), BUt - This post focus on the event of an aspect of this 'trancer guy' , of us, all of us , who are directly 'blamed'. why? because of certain GENRE OF MUSIC that we really like (most of us, i tent to beleive), take an interest in and enjoy listening to it.
Well yeah, let's be objective and admit, at least 80 % of our 'scene' listen and keep listening to this music because of the wrong reasons , but this widespread (lof of beyond the police) stereotype (i don't mean to specific one) throws a stain on all of the rest 20 %, who are TRULY love this music, and this specific event just illustrates another fulfillment of this stereotype.
