go learn some music
3/4 in math equal to 6/8 when you do function aka divide , in music there is no divide so it represent as beats per minute or tempo , so 6/8 is twise of 3/4 which is watlz tempo
I hope some day you will understand after math class you gave me and top down that you was wrong . |

Sektor666 ,
MATH is fucking important for people who make electronik music
math is everywhere...
this is silly to say that in math 3/4 = 6/8 and in music is diference...
it's like u say that
140 is not the same as 280/2
must artists work on 2** and they make division after that to 1**
if u say something like 4/3 i may think twice before i answer...
but when u say 3/4 is not 6/8
this is funny
now please keep the list

Whoa there fellas, is this really something to get this worked up about? Practically biting eachothers head off over a time signature.
The difference between 3/4 and 6/8 is in where the beat falls.
In 3/4, the beat goes [B---B---B---]
whereas in 6/8 it goes [B--B--B--B--]
You'll notice that it has the same division per measure because obviously 6 is a multiple of 3. The difference is in the emphasis of the beat. |

i was mistaken too (i admit)
but u all makes really funny mistakes !!
NOW
lets show u how this really going...:
(!=kick ok?)
this is the seq 4/4___*---*---*---*---
_________________!---!---!---!--- (4/4)
_________________!--!--!--!--!--! (6/4)
we both mistake
BUT I RIGHT ABOUT THE MATH!!!
3/4 = 6/8
LOOK!:
3/4__*---*---*---*---
_____!-----!-----!--- (3 kicks on 4 beats)
now
6/8__*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---
_____!-----!-----!-----!-----!-----!- (6 kicks on 8 beats)
don't mess with kimotor!!! (even if i was wrong too at the first )
so i guess now u agree with me that MATH IN MUSIC IS MATH IN MATH!!!
right?
now
LIST TRACKS WITH 6/4

the way i see it...
3/4 means three crotchet beat divisions per bar ( /4 = crotchet beat...eg. 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 etc.)
And 6/8 means 6 quaver beat divisions per bar ( /8 means quaver beats...eg. 5/8, 6/8, 7/8)
as for 3/4 tracks i like....i dont like any in trance, not a good groove for modern dance music imo

The top number in a time signature is the number of beats per measure. The bottom number is the note that itself recieves one beat.
Meaning in 3/4 a quarter note recieves one beat and in 6/8 and eigth note recieves one beat.
So 6/8 doesn't mean 6 kicks on an 8 beat measure. It is a 6 beat measure where the eigth note is considered a single beat.
3/4 is just like a 4/4 time signature but cut off the 4th beat. So you have (number is beat, = is offbeat):
(4/4) 1-=-2-=-3-=-4-=-1-=-2-=-3-=-4-=-
(3/4) 1-=-2-=-3-=-1-=-2-=-3-=-1-=-2-=-
6/8, though, has an eight note receiving one beat so it really is
(4/4) 1-=-2-=-3-=-4-=-1-=-2-=-3-=-4-=-
(6/8) 1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-3-4-
