Konvocation - Psytrance Sundays at Sonar

9pm - 2am
It started on the shores of India, in the ancient city of Goa, a new kind of music. It's spread like wildfire across the world, and now it's ready to explode onto Baltimore's underground music scene.
Pychedelic/Goa Trance is the driving force at Konvocation, Baltimore's newest electronic dance night. Konvocation is at Sonar, on March 28 and the last Sunday of every month, and it features the best DJs, live acts and bold new nightclub decor.

Hugh Sharpe is one of the original psytrance DJs in America. He's been rocking dancefloors all over the Western Hemisphere for nearly a decade and producing top notch music for just as long. Hugh is one half of the reknowned group, Shape Shifters, and the originator of the infamous Brooklyn Crib parties.

May 14th I'm opening for Infected Mushroom at Nation in DC. We (Konvocation) have been asked to cooperate with Buzzlife to host a psytrance event at their club. Psytrance will be in the main room, and then other forms of EDM in the front room.
We are doing it again on July 9th with Astral Projection - and based on the success of those two events possibly bi-monthly after that.
Its going to be a ton of fun, if you can't make it out to Konvocation this month, you should definitly try to make it to Nation on May 14th. |

Don't worry Cyzum I am only messing with you. I just get a kick out of the descriptions for the Konvocation parties. The descriptions certainly are not modest, huh? I guess if you don't say you’re the best who the hell will? Right?
