Join Overmind Works as we say farewell to one of our own. Yes, it's true. Dr. Bones is leaving us for greener pastures. However, we want to show our appreciation of his years of
dedication to bringing psytrance to the Arizona desert scene. So, we're sending him off in style, with a good old-fashioned OMW campout event. We've found the perfect spot, and space is limited. Come help us send Dr. Bones off proper.

Audio navigation by:
Hahn the Barbarian
Nick Synergy
Dionysos Pan Eros
*special guest Quon (jadedraver.com)
*special guest Androcell - catch the latest release "Efflorescence"
and of course, the man of the hour, Dr. Bones.

We hope to see you all there. This is a brand new location for us, and we think you will all enjoy it very much. RSVP now to goa@overmindworks.com.

This is a desert event, which means leave no trace. Respect the Earth, at least until we find another one.

Fire Restrictions Have Been Lifted!!!

that means campfires, that means fire poi. This party is going to rock!

Weather-wise, no word yet. But it is going to rain/snow heavily this weekend out there, so definitely no fire restrictions.

Weather report looks good for this weekend. We hope to have at least 24 hours of non-stop booty shaking rockage. If you're in the area and would like a healthy dose of psytrance, definitel check this out. This is the first of what we hope will be a big year of events for OMW.           "Every generation needs a new revolution." ~Thomas Jefferson

WOW.

I would first and foremost like to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who got involved in this event and helped make it happen.

Great sets from everyone, sound and lighting were wonderful, and the location ruled! Even the weather turned out perfect. All in all, it was worth the sleep deprivation I endured to prep the site.

This was a great kickoff for what should be an excellent year for psy events in Arizona.

I'll second that...WOW!!
after an almost 6 year hiatus from the scene, my better half planned for us to attend this most amazing event as a surpise for me. Coming from the bay area scene of the late 90's it's been quite a while since we've been to any proper psy event. I must say, we had a most wonderful time!!

It was such a pleasure to meet with the OMW family and share a nite of crazy beats and feast upon the chilled, smooth dubvibes of androcell in the morning.

The location was absolutely beautiful in a protected jewel of an oasis in the desert amidst some ancient and massive saltcedar trees near a windmill powered well. The lighting and poi were phenomenal, and the sound was crystalline clear. Definitely a top notch effort here.

Mad props to all of our sonic navigators, especially Dr. Bones, who set it off right and Hanh the Barbarian whose infectious late night vibes really got us moving through the cosmos.

Now a little bit about our friend quasga! what words could I possibly say about a sunrise androcell set? as you would all imagine it was beyond words... absolutely divine! This was my first time to hear his new material off of efflorescense, and what a way to hear it. incredible stuff!! we even got a sneak peak of some upcoming remix material... oh man....

I can't wait to do it again, grins to everyone there and to all who want to join some beautiful like minded souls in the future!

Well, first and foremost, thanks to everyone who came out and made this one of our best events yet. Psytrance is not falling on deaf ears here in AZ, and I'm glad we finally got solid proof of that. This weekend was phenomenal, down to the weather as Nick pointed out. There was this amazing vibe that got everyone in tune with the music and with each other. Everyone was a stranger to me when this party started and now I feel like I've made a large group of new friends.

I have to thank Nick and Hahn for foregoing sleep for the majority of the weekend to make sure this event went off smoothly. They were on site a full 12 hour before the music even started, making sure the area was available and cleaned up properly to give us such a great experience. I also have to thank Albert and his crew for providing the lighting, which really helped set up the atmosphere and made an excellent addition. Looking forward to the fire poi at the next event.

Thanks to Quon for coming out and playing, even though he did cause me to miss part of the party to pick his ass up. He made up for it with an hour of dance grooves that kept the booty shaking. Wish you could have stuck around until the end. Also thanks to Androcell for bringing his distinct style of psychedelic grooves to our morning. It's hard to convince me to keep moving after being awake over 24 hours, but somehow you found a way. Thanks, man.

To all the people I met this weekend, thank you again for being there. We enjoyed every minute of it, and plan to do it again real soon.
