i'm not sure if there's anything psychedelic left in this so called progressive "psy"...in fact i'm not sure there's much progressive left in it either, more just electro and house...but good vibes matter a lot, and i'm sure they were there.
Pena is definitely one of the most influential djs for this style and his set for Omnitribe at Fun-0-Matic years ago is hard to forget. |

i've seen pena, a bunch back home, he is proggresive housy psy, i think he is really top notch even though that kind of progressive isn't my cup of tea.. i like psychedelic groove proggy, not the electro type, i didnt go cause i didn't know about this... would have like to see an old friendly face. but im sure it was all possitive |

Pena's set included tracks from perfect stranger and other more psy oriented prog artists... we asked him if it would be possible to hear some material from his collection from the psy end of the spectrum, and I thought he did a great job... the set will be streaming off our event archives in a week or so for those of you who couldn't make it out. Thanx to everybody who did... this event was alot of fun. Special thanx to eli from cosm for enabling this for us, and to everybody who stuck around after to help us break down... these events would be impossible without you.

thanx 28thday crew.
Pena and Tony showed us fantastic sets.
Especially Pena's one was maybe the best set so far this year.
mix skills, structure of track selection, everything was just world class.
Looking forward to next one!
I just need something deep... |
