Anyways yeah that track is a crowd favorite for those of us old enough to remember Industrial music, but I always thought commercially releasing unauthorized remixes was in somewhat poor taste... coughGMScough

Which track was it? Ministry killed. Stigmata has to be the all time angst anthem to end all angst anthems. I'm suddenly reminiscing about hanging out in bombshelter type clubs in the 80s (always basement with all the walls painted black). Haha, good times, when all we had to look forward to was possible total nuclear devastation.

Is this the band Ministry that you guys are talking about? I only know one song by them and some people don't believe me when I tell them it is Ministry. Apparently Ministry made some major changes in their sound that I have never heard. Total metal or something. The song I'm talking about is Halloween. I know a couple fans of Ministry's music that came after this song that told me that this song is not by Ministry that I had to show them that it was! As I don't know the music that came afterwards, I am really curious now, and a mix by Aeon? I want to hear it.
Aeon, can you bring it with you to the gathering and play it for us? Right on a car stereo or boombox? Or maybe they'll let you borrow the Funktion One system for a few minutes?
jds, Is Stigmata a song title? I'm going to have to check into this now. I have this anomalous gap in my music from 1982 to 1989 if it was something that KROQ or KNAC played, but the other Los Angeles area stations didn't. Did it come out during these years? Do you think you'll make it to this gathering?

Ya, Kev, it's a song title (find the live version of it). I remember that Halloween song also. Another classic for the pre-goth industrial types.
Speaking of Halloween (great segue to get us back on topic)...
I threw down a montage of some footage I'd been sitting on from the Psytribe-Greensector Halloween gathering at the same location where Equinox will be. Not meant to be representative, but just a small taste of what we can all expect come March:
The background track is totally full-on but you'll live, it's just easier to make a hyped up montage of daytime footage from upbeat tunes.
