sorry man i posted what i had ...
i definately didnt turn out as expected ... faar from it to be honest ... but so it is ... got on with it and enjoyed with what i could ...
the one night of DVR was special ... but eventually that made me cringe cause it only showcased what was on offer incase it had gone on ... properly

same here .. they said 10 days ..50 odd artists etc .. but all they got was a small preview from a few artists and some amature dj`s .. terrible .. looks like my fears were well founded .. and hermione zap zap had it right all along .. but shit happens .. learn from it & betr luck next time guys ! |

hey all
i was in pokhara all the time of the festival
i didnt want to go only becouse of the price, i wanted to talk to someone that come back from the festival site to the city and only if its realy good i had come
so on the first day i saw one guy that came back from the festival and he told me that there are 10-15 ppl in the festival
so i wait...
at the 3rd day of the festival i saw few guys coming back to pokhara from the festival and they told me that there is something like 25-30 ppl there, most of them are d'js and the dancefloor is empty.
at this point they charged 30 euro in the gate
at the next day it got closed
the location btw was realy nice from what i saw on someone camera
too bad it came out this way,
i think that the main reason it came out this way was the price
100 euro ?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?
its nepal, ppl never pay this price!
better luck in your future events, (and dont be so greedy next time...)

hmmm now thats a thought ...but the way things looked even after the price was reduced and the artists were on their way , and also there ...still no one came :-(

i guess one of the resons may have been that Shanti jatra just got over around the same time and people who had come either were too fried or almost broke to come to DarkSun... |

yes but why would anyone pay 5500 rs. to hear nasha, gorump peyya, innersound, aghori tantrikk etc ? also considering acts like naked tourist didnt end up showing up...
when you can pay 2000 rs. to watch psykovsky, kzz, syntax error, neuromotor and the rest of the baaps

And all DVR artists played for 1 hour each before organisers decide to end it!
Who ever was there i think that they really enjoy DVR artists playing killer music ...even for a short time though!

Yes mate you missed it.. thats the bottomline.. It was an out of this world expeirence.. I hope I get to do it again.. It s no one's fault that people did not come.. And as i see those who did not come missed. agreed it was a huge effort but the expeirence sure was once in a lifetime i feel.. Man you should have seen the sunrises there . As far as the pics go its too special to be on a public forum and to be criticised by some couch potato sitting in his living room being a judge.. Yes iam refering to the the same guys who was sitting at his computer whilst a few of us frolicking by the riverside

wonderful that you had an amazing time... and if the pics are so good and you had such a good time, then any "couch potato's" comments should matter...
on the same note, posting pics or not is completely a personal thing...
