I really hope you guys are not talking about the people who did local groundwork for the chikmangalur party : ie ... spacecase and that crew... because they did a shit job and you're going to get urself into deeper shit if you plan on working with them.
Who are these organisers ? Its cool that Discovalley and other labels are representing but they are DJs, Artists & party orgs... it takes a lot more to do a 7 day festival. The groundwork for Shanti Jatra has been in full flow for a long time now.
Speaking of which... we'll be in Nepal for the same so hope this works out and is legit... I bet a lot of people who are coming for the first festival will extend their stay to be there for this.
@ Stranger : you said "why to be all crap? " ... Considering that many attendees are coming from India the crap flinging is a valid safety measure. 270 people including 2 international DJs were put in jail for several weeks because of unprofessional organising (Pune bust). I really hope you're covering your own ass by finding out all the details before you head out to this event.

Nth Term has never claimed nor will need to claim any association whatsoever with any other organiser.
Nth Term claims hereby that it is in no way connected or wishes to be associated with 6362 metaforce.
And Yidam, we guess that you know, if it was not for Alt, Spacecase and crew, you would not have a venue for Taandav in the hills in the first place, nor the cop' blessings....and the party wouldnt have lasted till it lasted.
Not to mention what happened at close of party.....
Nth Term is using pictures of Chikmagalur party, because if not for this team there would not have been a party at all. Simply by using these pictures does not mean that we are associated with Metaforce now. We were!!. Get it?
This should clear your doubts and This is end of story.

hey guys .... if they did work along with or for metaforce for the karnataka party then there's no reason why they should'nt put photo's of that party there...
come on guys ... i hear about how metaforce did'nt do shit for metaforce party but only delegate work... and it was altaf and people that put all into it ... why doubt them from the off... seems unfair to me...
lets not do this in the open guys ...

lolzzz.....pandora's box has finally been opened...n things r gettin into the open.....i tot the metaforce gig was all abt PLUR with total smooth functioning n total co-operation between all groups involved.....all orgs involved looked soo happy happy in all the pics of the party....guess i was wrong....y is it that all gigs r incomplete without accusations n allegations ?
IMO watevr maybe the case....metaforce being involved or not...if the guys mentioned above altaf n crew did a good job in karnatak....den they can n shud duplicate the good work in nepal.......but again pls be true to ur words n promises for the festival....otherwise u give an oppurtunity for others to point fingers....

hola folks )) ..just came in to say Hi  ...
not taking any1's pside here .. just informing for those who might not know abt this ...
Being part of the mahashivratri in the hills in feb ,i can assure you that if its the same people who took care of most of the stuff in and ard party dates ..it will be a nice event ...
coz as far as i REMEMBER , and there were 4 more artists n dj's wid me who played at that party ... these guys r the ones who took care of us .. i mean most of groundwork was done by these ppl .. so i am very sure that they were a part of that gathering in a BIG way /// also they helped us quite a bit after the party , when we were thinking abt ways of gettin back to goa from chikmagaloor ( and trust me it wasnt funny )
i can say this coz i was a part of it all along when it was being transformed from plan into a reality (much much more before the event ) and much much before i knew these orgs ( altaf n gang) ... got to know them only after we had reached karnataka a day before the party started
so take it easy ppl // lets have some psychofun )) ...
this wil be a good party and nepal is a safe place to party as compared to its neighbouring counterparts in these circumstances . also things are more easy to be solved here then in india

wow... looks like i created some kind of storm...
okay heres the lowdown... i speak from my experiences at chikmangalur.
the location for chikmangalur was changed a week or so before the event because of security issues. luckily they got their shit together and had the event without the projected set up time.
if you guys ate the food you'd realise what im talking about. what was advertised was different than the plain dal chawal that showed up
the water... if you had a taste of it you'd have tasted the petrol. those tanks had to be cleaned out at the venue to get the water close to drinkable.
the grand finale. i was put up with the rest of the DJs are the guest house on site. after the party we were left stranded, by all organisers including the on-site guys in question. our equipment was held on ransom for something like 6000 rupees... the venue people claiming that we had to pay the guest house charges... they threatened to break the windsheild of the car we were in. we escaped only after we got a friend to distract them while we sped away... this is how we left the party. at that very time the spacecase crew were running around the venue heads full of acid having no clue what the heck to do...
this is what I saw... theres a lot more that went down that you guys will be a little more than shocked to hear... but thats not for this forum.
@ chia... dont go there! and please, removing the links a day after the post and then claiming it doesn't exist is a lame effort. it also shows that you are willing to bullshit your customers just to cover your own ass... doesn't say much for an organizer.
Okay... fine... maybe these guys know what theyre doing in some minuscule way... but the reason they were chosen to do the chikmangalur party is because they were locally based! it was their first event as well! what in your right mind makes u believe that they can organize a 7 day party in another country?!?!?! lol .. gimme a break.
and as a disclaimer... I am not associated with anyone including 6362metaforce. I was at the chikmangalur party as a DJ and label rep.... I helped them out because they needed it.
Personally, all I'm looking out for is professionalism and experience in terms of organizing because in India its not just a bad party if things don't go as planned. For your sake I hope it works differently in Nepal.

I apologize if this bursts some bubbles... the basis of it is that you can be as positive as you like but the validity of something this big is based on whether it has been done in the past. That is the reason why this event is using another to promote itself. The catcher is that the chikmangalur event happening was miraculous in itself... bring in the elements of nepal being 1000s of km away and no mention of any orgs based in nepal and things start to look a bit shady. |

I just hope it all falls into place we Indian psy heads get see the marvellous line up advertised for this festivel. Personally all my favorites are there Hope the orgs have it all together and this gathering happens.
Though India is the birthplace of Goa Trance we've just lost our way here. The last couple of years things have been goin from bad to worse here. It started with lack lustre parties and went on to a be a cause for the arrest of 230 ppl and 2 international and extremely talented musicians getting beaten up and jailed. That just sucks beyond words thought or anything comphrehensible.
I wish the orgs of the dark Sun festival all the very best. My best wishes and energies to you guys. Hope everything falls into place and we have an awesome festival.
And on a very selfish note I hope I get to see hear n expeirence the cream of Dark trance Artists n Djs on the bill for this festival
