DARK SUN did happen. Was not at all a failure. It failed not because of the organizers but for the lack of believers. Lack of belief in the system.
Location : Rating - 5/5 -- I must admit that the org's have a knack when it comes to choosing a location. I really loved the place and would love to go back there anytime. Acres of land,valleys,mountains, a river in the backdrop. Could not ask for more. The only problem with it was the bumpy one hour ride from pokhara. Apart from that no complaints.
Music : Rating 4/5 --The festival name says it all. Dark music was for breakfast,lunch and dinner. And guys it was some feast. Pure psychedelic music.
I dont want to detail all as TINKS has already summarized it for you.Wonderful sets by all the artists who played there. Their individual sets, combined act with other acclaimed Dj's was good for the scene and for the people who were present there.
Crowd : 7/5 -- Yes,it is not a typo. 7 cos of the few people who dared to believe and wanting to be there as a part of this huge festival. Appreciate each and everyone who were present at the festival. I can imagine what we all went through. But then peace and love to everyone who was there.People who travelled long distances to make this event REAL.
The vibes were good.There was a common understanding amongst the trancers. Wishing to see you all sometime,somewhere on the dance floor.
Hopefully EVEREST fest hehehehe.
I wish the organizers all the very best for their future endeavours. You had a vision, you made us all dream and yes we did stay in wonderland for a few days. Big respect for you guys. I dont care abt the wrong talks or the problems you faced or still are facing...but my token of appreciation for just making it REAL.

Oh my i forgot to thank all the people i met...
Lesser Soul : COWBOY wew was wonderful to see you again in nepal. Boy didn't we have fun. We danced together,travelled together, shared rooms together, got psyched together. Sad it all had to end. But i am sure to meet you again baba. was wonderful sharing the tents (btw i forgot your sleeping bag is in bangalore,you forgot it in lucknow). I miss bathing in the river. Hehehe...all the best for your future COWBOY. Like wicked said " WHAT A LUND!!!".
Tinks : Thanks for the pics. Thanks for ur music as well. Will catch up with ya soon.Nice,warm person with a never ending flick of his hair and a smile. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon baba.

I wish i could list all the names but lemme try a few.
Wicked, Pali, Karan, Spirit, Meto, Teo, Tala, Olga, Shu, Yoami, Spiral, Kikxx and the two guys along with him.
Woooooow,was wonderful spending some time with all of you. Was an enriching experience.
Hope to see you all someday on the dance floor. Peace and love to all.
P.S : There are many things but i wish not to share. Some wonderful moments and bad one's though.

The biggest thing i forgot. The organizers gave us a killer party the last day of our trip. Boy boy boy what a party. FUNKY BUDDHA is still in my mind and all over my matter.
The people,the place, the vibes,the music churned out by DVR family it was all like a magic trip. Real psychedelia. Guess we went to nepal for this ONE and ONLY killer party.
Thanks guys for making it up. I hope your next week's gig is successful.

yoooo bro ....wats goin on ...killah time haaaaaan!maaaan u guys missed out on the real party ...funky buddha ..this was no peace love blah blah .. party ...it was a totall freak party!!! a pvt sorta scene wit the dvr crew and it was totall chaos in tat small place ..haha ppl screamin .....hangin upside down and wat not ...it was like a bunch of mental ppl locked in tat place trying things totally outta this world !!! a true psychadelic experience!!! dont think i cn ever get over tat party...and as for dark sun ....killer location , killer sound ...on the second day i guess the entry was reduced to 30 euros ...even then not many ppl turned up ...guess the promotion part is where actually things screwed up ...coz not many ppl even in katmandu or pokhra seemed to kno bout the party ......ne ways for ppl who made it ...definetly had a killer time ...good tribadelik stuff by allogoric ..konark was really good for his first time on big sound ..killer trax by spriral ...and the vs set wit gourem peyya and ofcourse kicks ..energetic guy ...ready to play netime  ...and finally the nite wit dvr crew .....
was nice meetin All u boyz ...

it missed the sunshine in marketing of the festival ( i admit its commercial shit(marketing) but much needed for organizers to survive )
Good Sound .... Killer Artists
Location could not be better....
Its really sad to see very few people....
Pricing....5.5 was tooo high....they canned the festival on 4th day......we were kinda duped....
deco was like shaadi ka mandap.....
nth term...any of your future assignments....i am gonna enter free for lifetime......
