It knarks, clatters, and rattles: 2Drops obviously have a jukebox in the basement, which is broken. Or mad. Or both. In any case, it has developed its own life and now makes techno. That way sounds the single of the EP "Techno is insane" by 2Drops. Complex, shuffeling, demanding to build cascades of sound - just to disassemble them. Again and again. As a permanent boot without a hard disk controller. But the disk with the dance instruction still sticks in the drive. Somehow Ronan Dec drives the system. He takes the shuffle and pumping, nervous and minimal aesthetics from the original and puts them in shape. At some point 2drops then started even the operating system: The third track "Reboot System" spheres and open spaces. Clatters, turns on the heat and just works on the dance floor. Low, powerful, complex. Messed up. Straight is different. But boring as well.
