JeffZ will be using the Mindoutpsyde non-profit organization as a lead reference to strengthen the movement. The fact that we want to do something good for the community with our events will help to pressure the city even further to legalize late-night dancing.
I'm hoping this will inspire other states to stand up for their right to enjoy music and dancing late into the night. This is supposed to be a free country, so I am glad that this silly dance-restricting ordinance has been brought into the light.
It is awesome to be a part of all this! We are lucky here things have happened the way they have here in Iowa!

Hi not to pull a fast 1 on u - u r so welcome thank u 4 ur courageous activism - I am letting u know I am about to send this page to the Attorney General's, Eric Holder's, office and to certain other Democrats at the White House, who like these sorts of informations bc it is common knowledge in some circles that late night bans have a lot to do with the Republicans not wanting ppl to be awake during whichever activities of theirs, medical experimentation or whatever. meanwhile enough of the free-speech stifles on this forum; the Supreme Court would never agree. peace. |

I'm back - it's all our lucky day - I sent off the thing, with the obligatory and recommended million or so ccs, fbi, cia, secret service, the like. peace in Iraq.

Since I mentioned all these ppl this missive will please go to them. Altho I hesitate since if they be credited then they are incalculably busy, yet the topic remains NAZI EXPERIMENTATION, which is probably being perpetrated on Iraqi civilians by the US Army as we speak, and which must end. Stamping it out simultaneously in the US is to me without doubt a productive endeavor. The geographic appearance of the topic, late-night bans, might map sites of experimentation in the US. this insidious villainy must be stopped. did they have one in Honolulu by the way (rereport).
In conclusion I named all these incredibly high level ppl also so that the ppl on the forum would be at peace about my intentions, therefore I take this opportunity to demand of ALL the fair housing that is my legal right, as well as the highest possible level of anti-Iraq War activism from the entire scene. ..So that the big important ppl in the cc remain assured of my good intentions in return. thank you. -Now did u guys know about the Mass Murder Cult Warning about the Western European 'Hydraulic' Trance Mass Murder Cult. phew. Meanwhile in all seriousness tobacco is a holy native plant (cf Ake Hultkrantz in Twiss and Conser), most ppl who smoke really like it, many ppl smoke, and clove is a spice - it is not allowed to illegalize a spice. it is our right to dance and enjoy music, and i am glad that this global Psytrance community is all about using that right. people are very very powerful, especially when we stick together.
i have no doubts that this movement will keep moving full steam ahead

The dance ordinance for Des Moines has been repealed! there are some requirements such as a liquor establishment getting a permit to play music at all hours with 75% of their neighbors permission and if the place has never been used for an event before to get an inspection. But those are compromises we think we can live with.
This has truly been a community effort. Thank you to all that wrote your councilperson, signed a petition, showed up at meetings, and spoke to the council. It is amazing what we can do together.
Also, thank you to the city council and Des Moines Police for being open-minded to this issue and see it how it truly is and working with the community on a compromise that is beneficial to all. it has truly been a humbling and enlightening journey of working within the system and am never more proud to say I am an Iowan, a place where people use common sense for issues of equality.
I am going to shut this down this cause in a couple weeks. We are working on getting a day of dance declared and some kind of event to celebrate!
