these 2 guys you mention are going to play in Skopje and we say that it will take place in Macedonia...if in the future the same persons play to Thessaloniki in which country will be posted to?....for God's sake...we love trance,peace,unity ...of course!!!....we love the same groups and we get crazy about the same sounds...but most of all we love our country and respect every right of it |

I too wish I could be there. Crazy music. I don't think that darkpsy fans of either countries have sth to be afraid of each other; in the contrary this is a nice opportunity to get to know better.

Been to Skopje for party and have enjoyed my self alot.
Ppl there are full deep into the dark scene and they make good parties.
Some of the things I’ve seen and felt are positive vibe and strong support to their local artists, many girls around, great attention in having killer sound system and up-to-date equipment for their parties, ppl join the gigs before midnight and stay all night long rocking the place – no artist foreign or local plays in front of an empty dance floor, cops are not ill-minded against trance parties, generally things are simple and ‘primitive’ and that’s why they’re fine.
The city is huge, big roads and avenues, the center is full of shops and coffee bars and restaurants, xtra large squares and so much green around, cheap prices for a Greek wallet everywhere, you will be surprised to find how many Greek famous brand products are sold into the supermarkets and kiosks and a lot of ppl speak or understand a few Greek words.
Moving out of the center towards the suburbs you get a different view of Skopje, maybe a bit underdeveloped and lacking opportunities but still a beautiful green landscape with small houses and gardens and hard struggling masses.
If you go by car make sure you have the card needed and don’t forget to try Skopcko
Beer, it’s hella great beer. Also, night comes quickly and it’s cold so mind some warm clothes.
I left the political comment for the end, I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t mentioned it at all.
Both sides are sensitive to the flaming subject and I understood it very clearly while I was
at Skopje. The ‘name thing’ is a big part of their daily life and everyone is into it despite of character or age or gender.
Now that things have come to the point where they stand after so many governmental negotiations and fatal mistakes from our side, the only thing left for the common ppl is respect to each other from both sides. Greeks would get as much frustrated by a topic in the greek section with the word Macedonia just as every Skopjan would feel if he saw FYROM in one of their forums, right?
So if anyone really cares about real unity through music and all the plur stuff, he should at first try to be sensitive in handling those matters that he knows VERY well they provoke uneasy feelings around, cause we’re not here to discuss about such things but neither can we stay with our hearts and mouths shut.

Exactly the point of where you can easily understand how much respect you get from this topic's title. Our beloved neighbours have the name macedonia for granted. What they teach them in school is that alexander was a slav and that "solun" (thessaloniki is their real capital city). All the beautiful beaches in south macedonia are under Greek occupation, and vergina's great grave of Philip is a "Greek trick" to full the international community.
And the most rediculus part of all this is that they were waiting from a stupid holywood movie, to have historical lessons from Oliver stone. An americlanos director made them so confused that their first thought was that Greeks financed the production of this movie.
andonis claim that the real enemy is politicians and bankers and i agree. But i can see that you accept the name macedonia as well. Accept the name and you will see what comes next my friend 
And i am sorry but trance can not unite Greeks and slavs under the name "macedonia" (allu afta neighbours). |

Now I want to clear some things up.

At some points you are right, and we have seen your point asking for some changes and as you saw, we made them happen.
The title of the thread has been changed...
I would kindly ask you, and the rest of the ppl to stop discussing about historical and political matters since the forum is against them and you are getting offtopic...
I left some topics to be read but i think is about time to stop this and stay on topic...
There are 2 ppl that consider greeks playing in this party, so it has been posted in the greek section...
Some ppl show interest about this party because they do not care about the political issues that some others care a lot...
So, I think those who do not want to take part of this, just dont go or even dont reply here, for those that want to go, enjoy yourselfs...
I hope I will not see any further discussions about political matters, cause from now and on I'll consider them OFF-topic and will be marked or delete...
