greetings fellow psy-trance dance warriors,
to help kick off a mad psychedelic bank holiday weekend of parties i'm doing a little showcase of trance music i like to play and groove to this friday at the synergy centre. i'll be selecting my favourite tunes i have been trancing out on over the past few years. so this includes other forms of trance music that lead me up to psy-trance. anyway details are below. entry is donation basis so a couple quid, perhaps a packet of nag champa and definitely a smile for the door man or woman would be much appreciated. hope to see some of you down there and i'll see the rest of you on a trancefloor soon.

i'll be following on from the 5 Rhythms 'Boot Factory' dance workshop taking movers and groovers on a clubbing journey playing tunes which have grooved me on dancefloor's since i first got into dance and trance music back in 2000. from deep tribal progressive house and breakbeats, to progressive trance, to melodic and hard trance, to psychedelic trance, leading into an ambient and chilled set to wind off the night. also expect to hear some of my favourite classic rave anthems of the past! if it get's too cheesy for you feel free to kick back in the synergy centre lounge where the Sattva cafe will provide you with healthy vegan, organic snax and herbal tea's. visuals will be presented by myself and Nadine. smells will be provided by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya insence of Bangalore, India.
please note: smoking of brand name cigarettes strictly not permitted on the trancefloor!

just wanted to add that apex will be joining me on the decks at some point or towards the end of the night if we go on till early morning for a last blast of full on psy-trance. also wanted to mention that hopefully this could be the first of a monthly DJ showcase night at the Synergy Centre, and anyone interested in showcasing themselves for a future event please send me a message!
