thus i'm almost there... 4 years of nothing so far!! and keep'on twisting. 8 years listening trance... and couple of year further in general music like playing guitar, having punkish eighteens band and so on |

Familly first, then music then friends and soon i will need to do some body exercise...  to be honest sometimes music comes first... but not always
I see music as a hobby and a mission... i try and play my instruments as much as i can but nowdays its all to seldome...
its so difficult to focus on what to do sometimes.. im gonna try and finish some cheesy melodic psytrance tracks and maybe release a free EP... and also im planning to release a EP with some forest trance aswell, made a colaboration with my brother wich turned out real cool...
i think you got to have a goal...

I've found
working out in the morning
school
music for the rest of the day and/or night.
worked really good for me on days when I didn't work.
Now I've applied for a bunch of jobs, but it's going to be less productive. I quit my other job to make music in the first place. Now I'm getting back to working at something I don't really care about.
One day, it will be only music that will matter for income.
Psy takes up a lot more time for me than any other form of music. With rock you can just play chords and sing along. With psy you make chords, bounce, mess them up with fx, all this other stuff. Takes 10x as long.

you have to find the good balance ,with my own experience i think having some goals is what matter,like for example when you go in the studio ,try to don t leave it until the track is finished.few days of intensive studio work now and then is what work best imo , making music everyday i m less productive ... |

when i started making music i was working normal job, later went down to halftime couse of the hard intrest of music, after that the music took over everything and i stoped work concentrated only on the music and bookings for 3 years. Money was kinda problematic from time to time. Didnt live like a king, but survived and sometimes not even that hehe.
Nowdays, i have family, whife and twins, i work 9 days for a 5 weeks period, so i have alot of free time making music and be with my family. plus stable money income. So its perfect now. =)

for me is difficult, cause i work all day till 5pm than after that usually have class or go to the gym keep up with my health, and have just few hours or less at night when i am feeling very tired, what kinda blocks my inspiration. Most of the times my ideas comes in the morning when i am at the work, and i when i am at my lap at night i already have forgotten hehe

I've also found that if I work on music right when I wake up, I get the best new song ideas. When I can, I'll get started recording right when I wake up. I don't know why, but it seems to help. For me, there's something about mornings that suit writing music.

i think its the satisfaction of fulfillness that pleases you so much and is very inspirational, relaxing feeling, i also feel sometimes that my daydreams/music inspiration are enhanced after having some "golden" moments  all the best for your family you write great music , keep on
