not at all.......
very good intro to season 7 imho.............will have much more sense once you watch next season
numbver 7 started sunday and WOWOW.....im totally into it like the first season....too much action, tension, excitment!!!

I think it was a very poor way to kick start a new season.
Let's see what we had:
New kick ass characters - Negative. Aside that hot and torture loving FBI agent (I smell an affair with
Jack Bauer in the near future) all the new characters ranged from bland to mildly annoying.
Violence - Very little. Not enough body bags per episode. Especially for a season start.
Villains - Very very weak villains. "Blood thirsty African leaders" my ass. I want my villains Russian, Arab or English. Or home brew like Christopher Henderson or Jack's murderous father and brother.
President - A woman. Enough said here. Next episode let it be a gay black woman. Might be more interesting than this president.
Jumping the shark scenes:
1. Tony's return
2. Jack's reckless blind driving through the parking lot
3. An American president takes time to chose between death of American and some African citizens.
In short: very weak and uninspiring.
