u can work also 32 bit , but the finel mixdown should be in 16 bit .
u can chnge it in the export --> audio tab

yes .
the reson is that all cd players can read only 16 bit .

and slap Cubase Dither on the Master Bus before converting 24 or 32 bit to 16 bit.
Or else you may get low frequency disturbance.

yes use 32 bit, i m not sure about that but maybe it will reduce the cpu load cause cubase don t need to dither every sounds
