those kind of movies are based on the FX.. no one expecting brilliant story ..

The film was not pleasant. Waited very long for its exit on screens. But unfortunately he has disappointed me very strongly. |

Wait for the 30 minutes Director's Cut.
The rest 2 hours of the movie is uber boring. Including some really worst casting choices ever like Danny Glover as the least charismatic US President ever. This movie blows, literally.

regular disaster movie.. Kinda full with the regular hypocritical USA bs, but still, fun for watching.
one thing that pissed me off throughout was how slow they move from one place to the other.. cussack plays in slow motion most of the movie..

I confess that during the first minute I thought the film, a "bit exaggerated, but then with the course of the film, very good, with a comprehensive quality of fiction.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm lets all drive downtown in a limo through buildings and under falling bridges, then our ex's plastic surgeon who's now her boyfriend luckily took flight lessons and he can fly under flying subway cars and between crumbling 200 storey buldings.
This movie is utter crap, it's so bad I can't even describe the outrageous amount of idiotness this movie contains, it's uncarismatic acting disgusts me while it's fx just peppers the surface of how fucking bad this bullshit flick is.
There I said it, don't watch this. I would rather see paint dry on a wall for 24 hours straight than ever watch this hollywood botoxified crapness.

this movie was such a waste of tv time.
I dint even feel like watching it till the the end. shut it when they get into the ark or whatever it was! the movie should have ended somewhere at 1hr and 45 mins but they pulled it for another 40 min.. ok the fx is nice but some of the visuals also don't make much sense - when they show the prez dying the damn aircraft carrier that topples is shown 10 times the size of the white house..hahaha
really sad acting performances and casting - firstly, they should have put someone more serious for this role instead of cussack like daniel craig, russel crowe or trovolta.. maybe someone older even! and fuck Amanda Peet she cant act for peanuts.. and danny glover is by far the worst choice for the president.. no wonder they show him dying! haha those 2 kids don't panic for half the movie when they see their house, city and the world falling apart.. they barely get a tear untill they are made to wear those life jackets. must be real brave kids no? even the dialogues are so sad.. overall not at all entertaining. what luck i dint waste my money on movie tickets.. so much for the hype around this bloody movie. 4/10
