Thanks to a wide number of presentations in Mexico, Israel, Australia, Germany, and France... and the latest release of their Debut Album "LIGHT THE MIND" Hernan Arber (Eclypso) and Javier Calzada (Loco) have made of MINDELIGHT one of the most successful Mexican Live Acts in the world. They have played their live show from private parties in the beach to massive festivals of 10 thousand assistants! Shared the stage with Trance Masters like Astral Projection, Astrix, GMS, Deedrah, Psysex, SpaceCat, Visual Paradox, Xavier Morel, Total Eclipse, etc. One of the mexican groups with more national and international releases. Their tracks where released in compilation along with Astrix, Sub6, Sesto Sento, Deedrah, Gms, Dino Psaras, Bamboo Forest and most of the Mexican trance producers. Hernan is a musician since the tender age of 4. He plays Live guitar and synths and made Alyah in 2004. This group has been going around for more than three years, with a debut gig in Mexico. They played each week-end in different points of the mexican country, being the favorite among party assistants due the BIG charisma and vibe! Always present in the most representative trance festivals as well as in the well known mexican talent compilation: Psycomex (AP Records) Earthdance (Kinetik Records) & Despertar de las Tribus (Psyclon Records). Mindelight has also released tracks for French and Australian labels. Eclypso made his official introduction to the Israeli Community playing live at the Comfort, Tel Aviv. The party was a BLAST! Now he is producing a new Style and looking forward to play at parties all around the world and to collaborate with Israeli, Australian, and musicians from all around the globe. Loco has been producing his solo project as BlueMD, with a new groovie style that is getting the attention from all of the Trance scene in Australia
CHWEN[Mexico]
Chwen discovered Psytrance in 2001, and fell in love with the style. Through the sounds of psychedelic trance he found what he was looking for in music: magik - a new way of connecting with his higher self. After playing at a local party with Trancemission, a well-known progressive trance act from Mexico City, he was invited to form part of their record label called Nebular Hypott, now part of the Iboga Records Mexico. Since then he has played in almost all of the important festivals in Monterrey, as well as playing all over Mexico. A resident DJ at Café Iguana, the biggest trance nightclub in Monterrey, Mexico until travelling to Melbourne to bring some Mexican magic to the scene in Australia. He has shared stage with some of the biggest national and international acts in the world such as: Azax Syndrome,Autonomech, Bubble, CPU, Decoy, Dark Soho, Liquid Ross, Menog, Mexican Trance Mafia, Ozzy, Phyx, Psipsiq Jikury, Psysex, Refer Decree, Rinkadink, Spoonbill, Trancemission, Teen Sluts, Tron, Unos Fonks, among many others. He has been invited to play all over Mexico where he is well known and respected, and once asked to play in the United States. In the near future he will be entrancing us with his own musical project that will create a truly psychedelic experience. The styles he plays ranges from Minimal trance to Progressive trance and Psytrance. In his sets you will find funky beats mixed with magical frequencies and mellow tunes, always creating the perfect blend between night and day leading you into his mischievous, magical, mysterious parallel multi-verses.
MECHANISM [AWKWARD INFLUENCES RECS]
Mechanism is an Artist from Melbourne, Australia and has been producing since 2000 and has cruised in and out of various styles untill he discovered.... PSY!
With a background of many different musical styles, Mechanism (Chris Asher) has been able to adopt his own tastes into his music, enableing it to sound like its own. Chris started off playing guitar at the age of 11, and continues to do so today and will be looking at incorporating it into his (1 man) act in the near future.
Chris describes "Mechanism's" music to be: Melodic, Funky and fun, while at the same time being like his project name states, Mechanical and still remaining psychedelic.
