So, its been almost a year since I've posted anything new. To be honest I almost gave up on psytrance all together, i have no idea why, maybe just changed in musical taste or production, who knows. So anyway, I took a much needed break and started to listen to a lot of music outside of psy or even electronica I cant even remember the last psytrance CD I've played, its been that long! Music such as Tipper, Noisia, Opeth, Tool, Salmonella Dub, OTT, Trentemoller, Boris Brejcha, and a long line of tech artists have motivated me and given me fresh ideas for production. What I've come up with is what I believe could be a new style of trance, I've taken the intricate production techniques of psy, simplistic structures and catchy hooks of tech, and low growly synths from drum n bass and rolled it all into one.
I would absolutely fuckin' love to know what you think of these 2 new tracks.
First is 'Folding My Peripherals' the idea was to use some panning tricks to simulate your peripheral vision to be folded in half, imagine that!
and second is 'The New Source' a remix of an older tune, although its fattened up like a bitch!
