I have recently bought the Mackie HR824s and I have connected them through a dj mixer (Not a studio mixer) The Vestax PMC17A.
Now when I usually use the same mixer for djying I usually keep the eqs (Bass, mid, high)in the centre meaning that I keep the same levels for of eqs.
The problem is that when I keep the levels centered whil I'm producing my music doesn't sound that good!Offcourse if I then change the eqs it sounds very good but my question is:
Do the eqs need to be centred so to know that I'm on the right track cause once I record my music and one plays it on a dj mixer most probably the leves will be centred.
Q2:
I use logic.
Recently by mistake I closed the "audio/bounce" channel on the logic mixer and I cannot get it back (Closed means that the channel disappeard completely).
Anyone knows how to get it back? |

about Logic, just create any channel, select it and change it on the left parameter box to whatever u want. I think u're talking about the Output channel.
about the first question, of course don't apply any eqing between sound source and monitors. Well you can do that, but then you won't be enjoying the Mackie benefits.
