Waz uP?
I was trying making some dark psy lately and i have two question about it...
First
I use V-station for making bass but anyone can help me out with some better vst for bass type's used in darkpsy????
Second
I can make a lead with arpegiator that's nice...
but i think my sound need more tweak like effect's...
The lead in dark psy is played like 4/4 or 8 or 16 i really don't know...
Be thankful to helpme.

Leads can be played in 1/1, 4,8,16,32,64, any time.
The arpegiator doesn tweak your sound, it tweaks the midi input of the sound.
Dark psy is full of effects and automations, I think its the subgenre of trance that has the most tweaks. Just try to mess up your brain, it should do the same with your listeners.
I like the albino for bass, and also the novation bass station, Muon Tau and BooBass. DONT FORGET TO GATE YOUR BASS!!

i didn't sai that arpegiator tweaks my sound but i mean i need to make my sound more interesting...
anyway sorry for my ignorance... Can you tell me how to gate my bass and what is it??? |

ok i am getting really tired about this...
when i am trying to make a bass in v-station the best i can get is really sub-boost type of it using square and saw waves...
but what i really can't get is how to create the type of bass used in dark psy...
i thing it has more medium freq in it...
the only effect's i can think of helping my sound is eq , boosting the bass, and compression, or even some fast delay or reverb.
but it still not sound nice.
anyway can anyone help me out

can anyone explain what wave's are used for this type of bass and what effect's they use
i think it has some tremolo effect or gating...
