2 EZ automation questions for logic users ?

I'm trying to write track automation in Logic 7 like I do with Cubase. I've 2 problems:
1. I can't snap the automation points to the grid although snap is on (smart, bar, whatever...). It must be something stupid that I'm missing.
2. I can't find the curve types that I have in Cubase. for example the square and the triangle curves.

maybe it's not that easy.

I read the fucking manual, and there is nothing. I can't belive it's impossible. |

In 5.5 version to do automation its simple just go to the bar and press view then click track automation, then click on the small left corner arrow on the track u want to automate,it will open like a sub track beneath the main track, then click on it and u will be able to automate whatever u want on that track...
if u want to make like circle automation ... just press ESC and u will have access to the tool bar , then choose the curved arrow and aply it between 2 automation points!
well i hope this is what u wanted to know!

Not sure about 7, but in 5.5:
1. there is no snap that I know of - so I just quantize afterwards if I need.
2. There was a premade waveform automation objects that you could apply them on any range u select - a copmany prepared it so it wasn't for free. You can prepare it yourself don't ask me how I have no idea on this one.
in 7 there must be something allready.
check sonikmatter forums about this.
