i like the groove of the track. you need to practice on your compostion. your phrases are not bad, but the way you play them it's boring. when you play short phrase and play it again 4 times in a row without any changes at the notes or at the sounds it's boring.
people repeating their phrases if they have long ones (4-8 bars) or complicated ones.
you need to add more groove elements (hihat for example and snair) and more things with the build up of the track.
your kick and bass are good for a noob so don't touch it.
aboud drugs:
it's starting in a very annoying way. the balance beetwin the volume of all things is not good. and you exaggerated with the side chain.
the sound that comes in at 1:14 is awful. it's not connected to the track at all. and it's so much high at volume compare to the other things.
i think it's not in harmony of the music.
learn a bit harmony of music. you don't need to be Mozart just to know how to make your music more pleasent to hear. and it's pretty simple the basic harmony.
again you need to add more groove elements with the build up of the track. but your kick and bass are good.
learn about automations. at every electronic music track (not just trance) the sounds are changing all the time. the cutoff, resonance,lfo rate,lfo gain,detune,etc. everything can be changed. it's make your track more interesting.
