I was wondering if you guys have that and how is it gonna work.
I have a p4-3.06gz-1.5 ram, m-box1,but it is not enough to finish a whole song.
What's more I have the virus ti, and it only works with low buffer on the sound card, like 512 tops and If I do that starts clicks all over the place.
I heard you can thru midi connect two computer to work with the same daw, like a external sampler or synth.
Is it worth?
Everything that I save in Cubase sx3.1 will be saved on the another computer as well?
Can u guys explain better?
Which pc config you guys advice as the main one?

Thanks.

what you need is a new soundcard. and to turn off\bounce a lot of plugins when not working on them

the problem is in order to work with the virus ti you need to work with low buffer sizes(512 tops) on the sound card, I think mbox should be enough, and when I bounce I have to do it live with the ti.
Any other solutions?

I would agree. Your computer is nearly twice as powerful as mine and has 500 megs more ram, yet I have no problem finishing 30 minute long tracks with LOTS of channels and LOTS of effects at low buffer settings (512 here). Rendering your parts with effects and all to audio files will help a lot, but if you still having issues I'd say your drivers and/or sound card are to blame.           New Album: Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity

ecsmix, I got virtualy identical pc specs, minus the mbox and virus ti, and have the same problems as you.

I did some research and e-motion is spot on, a new sound card is all that you need. I would have suggested a stronger cpu, but obviously thats not an issue for either of us.

I tested a fairly new Juli@ sound card and it sorts problems out. It's pretty cheap and it works niiiice ... check it out           2 ways of looking at life: You either live to dance or dance to live.

You can use two computers that connect with SystemLink through your digital I/O
